Welcome to my teacher website! I am delighted to share my passion for education with you. As an educator, I am constantly seeking out enjoyable and creative methods to engage children in their learning journey. I firmly believe that education is a dynamic process that should adapt to the needs of each child, helping them discover their true potential. Holistic teaching lies at the core of my philosophy. I strive to foster a sense of belonging and confidence within every student, while igniting their curiosity along the way. It is important to acknowledge that I am still learning, even after 10 + years of being in education, I am still learning! I embrace this wholeheartedly since being a lifelong learner is an essential part of my profession. I choose to intentionally be open about the things I don’t know with the children.  I believe this creates a genuine love for sharing knowledge. I firmly believe that children bring a wealth of knowledge and experiences into the classroom, making it a collaborative space of growth and exploration. My approach to education centres on building trust and nurturing kindness before delving into the curriculum. I am always seeking ways to infuse my own experiences of growing up in Africa into the learning environment, ensuring a rich and diverse educational journey for all.
